Priority of Access

Our centre adheres to the guidelines set down by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations  regarding priority of access.

Regulations are as follows:

Priority 1


A child at risk of serious abuse or neglect

Priority 2


A child of a single parent who satisfies, or of parents who both satisfy the work, training or study test under Section 14 of the "A New Tax System (Family Assistance) Act 1999

Priority 3


Any other child Within these main categories priority should also be given to the following children:


  • Children in aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander families
  • Children in families which include a disabled person
  • Children in families which includes an individual whose adjusted taxable income does not exceed the lower income threshold
  • Children in families from a non-English speaking background
  • Children in socially isolated families.

-The centre is family run and it certainly has that feel to it.  All the staff know all my children's names and make my son's drop off's a breeze .


-We all feel at home at the centre. The staff are well established within the centre, know you by name when greeting you, and I have always felt extremely comfortable leaving my children there.
