Redland Bay Early Education Centre encourages an orientation visit (9.30am – 11.30am) to familiarise both children and parents with the centre and staff, before the child’s first day of care. This allows you to discuss any concerns you may have in relation to your child commencing at the centre. Although separation anxiety can be distressing for both the child and the parent, this is a normal experience that may continue for the first few days. Parents are invited to stay for a short time, and participate in their child’s activities during the settling in period.
If you are apprehensive or unsure of how to help your child settle-in, please do not hesitate to discuss your concerns with the Licensee’s, Director or a educator. We will endeavour to do everything possible to help your child feel safe, secure and welcome at our centre.
-The centre is family run and it certainly has that feel to it. All the staff know all my children's names and make my son's drop off's a breeze .
-We all feel at home at the centre. The staff are well established within the centre, know you by name when greeting you, and I have always felt extremely comfortable leaving my children there.
